Group Investment Fund
The Group Investment Fund is the Foundation's primary investment vehicle for endowment funds.
The Fund maintains a balance of stocks and bonds and may contain cash. This combination of assets produces current income through fixed-income investments while also offering long-term growth from equity assets.
The equity portfolio and the fixed-income portfolio comprise not less than 30% nor more than 70% of the Fund (market value).
The Short Term Fund (cash) can comprise 0% but not more than 40% of the Fund.
The Fund's objective is to maximize the total rate of return while assuming conservative yet reasonable risk levels.
